And a certain Adam Strange fan might enjoy another story reprinted in the same volume.

http://dcindexes.com/database/comic-details.php?site=&comicid=17862Tom Hartleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00279973364279144136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-82412625856844629412012-09-19T23:44:32.829-05:002012-09-19T23:44:32.829-05:00You guys are so much better at rationalizing all t...You guys are so much better at rationalizing all this than I am. I'm just too darn pessimistic when I hear "J'onn" and "mindwipe" in the same sentence. Maybe it won't be so bad after all.LissBirdshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17059648604602469375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-2431115342393747822012-09-19T13:12:13.670-05:002012-09-19T13:12:13.670-05:00Frank, that would work. (Perhaps J'Onn worked within the Martian invaders, helped stop them and the League misunderstood his actions. Somehow, this current league seems to shoot first and aim later.)will_in_chicagohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01468337654400802576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-7293860633761830552012-09-19T13:06:32.479-05:002012-09-19T13:06:32.479-05:00Will, I was thinking more like the 1962, 1977 and ...Will, I was thinking more like the 1962, 1977 and post-Crisis JLA formation retcons. Most specifically the 1977 one, since that involved a version of the League coming together to combat a Pale Martian "invasion." J'Onn could have been a part of the group then, only to mindwipe everyone to conceal the existence of his people.Diabolu Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685199809207954223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-6330314436996363372012-09-19T06:36:44.166-05:002012-09-19T06:36:44.166-05:00Frank, it is hard to say what is going on. I think that an argument can be made that J'Onn would not have been able to mindwipe all the people who saw what happened in the first few issues of Justice League. (Considering how bad parts of it were, perhaps some readers would like a mindwipe.)

For Stormwatch #12, I would have to hope that there is a good explanation and that J'Onn is mindwiping people to protect them from something hideous as well as carrying about his "mission." I only hope that there is an incredible payoff here from DC editorial.will_in_chicagohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01468337654400802576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-48322622448354066062012-09-19T01:28:30.550-05:002012-09-19T01:28:30.550-05:00Yeah, well, yeah.
