Tiny Titans from Multiple Earths! It’s a crisis! Or is it? When the Tiny Titans discover a “mirror” universe, they have to figure out if the new Mirror Titans are friends or foes. Or do they just want a bowl of Aqua-Oh’s? Don’t let their opposite colors confuse you! Aw yeah, multiples!

Marco Rudy illustrates a story of young Lex and Darkseid, while Ed Benes tackles a tale starring Luthor and Batman foe Ra’s al Ghul!

Guest-starring Green Lantern John Stewart!
On sale DECEMBER 8 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US
Lobo and John Stewart? Now there's an intriguing proposition!

Martian Sightings looks pretty slim for December. But I'm liking the new Aqualad + others. There's an Aquagirl?

I wish DC would pick up the pace with releasing JLI trades. It seems like forever since the last one.

I used to fatten these up with non-DC material from the back of Previews, but I started setting that stuff aside for its own (unmaterialized) posts. I need to catch up as soon as I can.

Yeah, Lorena was introduced along with "Sub Diego" during Will Pfeiffer's run, and stuck around until One Year Later. She had a romance with an exceptionally well drawn Koryak before he was killed off to give Kurt Busiek a clean slate for his boring ass & derivative Sword of Atlantis. She disappeared for a while, but recently turned up as a member of the Teen Titans, which thankfully hasn't been a death sentence. She was a good sidekick, and as a Californian, brings an entirely different perspective than an Atlantean. Also, I dig her costume-- the blue and black number that marries elements of the mid-80s camouflage suit and the main hookhand gear, while not actually lifting either design. Very functional, but still fantastic, with a twitch of sci-fi.

One of my Kubert School instructors (Tex Blaisdell) did background inks on the Mike McKone story in the JLE Annual, and one time he let me ink a couple of lines in while he went to the bathroom.

It was the first time I ever did anything that ended up printed in a comic book.
