Martian Sightings for September, 2012

STORMWATCH #0

Art by IGNACIO CALERO and SEAN PARSONS
Cover by TYLER KIRKHAM and BATT
On sale SEPTEMBER 5 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T+
• The history of Stormwatch’s activities in The New 52 are revealed!
• A new villain arrives, and the safety of the team has never been more in doubt!
One last Martian Manhunter appearance before the book becomes the Authority. It's a shame Kirkham didn't include him on the cover, since it would have complimented the commission I got from him nicely.

• After INFINITE CRISIS, the DC Universe had its most eventful year ever. It was a year without Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman…but not a year without heroes!
• This massive hardcover collects the entire year-long run of the weekly series 52!
J'Onn was mostly in World War III, which moronically is not included in this tome.

Nice cover. Interesting team.

That Young Justice team looks super cool. I gotta start watching that cartoon if they are using characters like this.

The show has been great from the start. And after a rough '5 years later' beginning to this season, the plot lines are gelling and things are looking up. Definitely worth watching.

As for Miss Martian, she has started pulping bad guys' minds telepathically to wring info from them (but rendering them vegetative). When Superboy found out what she was doing, she tried to mindwipe him!

I haven't seen any of the second season episodes, so I have some catching up to do. But I wonder if Nightwing and Batgirl are on the show as well? That's news to me.

Mindwiping people? What will Uncle J'onn say about that?
