Anyway, I agree about the cape. Even Gil Kane, master of the Superman flutter-cape knew to give J'Onn's heft.Diabolu Frankhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685199809207954223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6620698560611640068.post-70805368467662750232009-10-01T09:37:04.979-05:002009-10-01T09:37:04.979-05:00I've been lax in posting, but my job wants me ...I've been lax in posting, but my job wants me to start getting actual work done so I had to cut back on my internets. Today is a slow day though, so let's get to it!
I really like this. I would still be pissed by some of the miss-characterizations, but had the art been like this I'd have been all about the miniseries. contrasted with that earlier BatO promo piece where Sook did the "classic" look, I think this sets a rule. The Superman billowing cape rule isn't right for J'onn. At rest, the cape should be static. Even in motion, I like when it seems to have weight, Like Maguire and Hughes did in JLI. It's a regal cloak covering his more savage self. But yeah, I like this.mathematicscorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15439579069513071094noreply@blogger.com
