History:
As a member of the Hyperclan, Zenturion took part in a plot to conquer Earth by pretending to be part of a super-team of "Alien Samaritans," while simultaneously controlling the minds of the population and undermining true heroes. Zenturion took part in the execution of a number of super-villains.

While stationed at the Hyperclan's Gobi Desert base, Zenturion joined Armek in attacking Green Lantern Kyle Rayner. Though Zenturion fared well, he was knocked out when the Flash arrived to seize his shield in mid-flight, and redirect at its owner's head.

Zenturion recovered for a second round against Green Lantern and Flash, who he seemed to defeat, with the aid of a Martian Manhunter disguised as Armek. Zenturion was again humbled in a confrontation with the Batman, who left him trapped in a ring of fire until Zenturion could be captured.

Powers:
Although it is often presumed that all Martians have the same abilities, the truth is that most show preferences, absences, and varied breadths of powers that bring the matter into question. Zenturion has demonstrated flight, superhuman strength which allows him to lift thousands of tons, and laser vision potent enough to immolate a metahuman body. Zenturion has a level of invulnerability capable of withstanding pincers projected from a Green Lantern ring biting into his head.

Weapons:
Zenturion has an energy lash projector attached to his left forearm, which is powerful enough to breach the defenses of a Green Lantern power ring and choke its bearer. The energy stream has a range of at least 100 feet, and is red-orange with a fiery yellow aura. Its being wielded by a Martian suggests these emanations are electrical in nature. Zenturion also carries a shield of roughly two feet in diameter which he could throw like a discus at an incredible rate of speed. The shield appears to be made of the same extraterrestrial material as his costume, and struck with force enough to knock the Martian himself unconscious.

Weaknesses:
Zenturion has a catastrophic vulnerability to fire, causing immediate loss of his abilities, and eventually death.
