Tsk Liss-- everybody has a mother, even Dan Didio. J'Onn has one in both continuities, to boot. I wasn't sure if I'd do the Silver or Modern one, until I got done studying and decided I didn't feel like scanning anything.
J'Onn, in some ways, strikes me as one of the loneliest figures in the DC Universe. Even Batman has Robin, Alfred and a lot of other friends in allies. It is good to see a reminder of some ties to others, and let's hope that the Martian Manhunter family posts here get some attention or that people controlling the character are thinking along the same lines.
Someday, you and Rip Hunter need to teach me about this time manipulation stuff.

ReplyDeleteI think J'Onn could use a regular friend, and Zook could fill the bill. Outside of the superhero community, J'Onn seems to have few friends.
ReplyDeleteDEO Agent Cameron Chase could fill the Diane Meade role, and Gypsy just barely counts as part of the super-community...
