Who's the blond?
Wow, has Miss Martian always been this freckly or did Gleason start something?
ReplyDeleteAlso, the blond (usually more white than blond in practice) in Secret Six is Jeannette, a new character created for the series. Powers similar to Silver Banshee; Better personality though.
I am a bit weary of Lobo, as the joke has gotten old and stale. He began as almost a satire on the tough anti-hero, but has become essentially a cartoon character in the DC Universe. Anyone BUT Lobo would be reviled for his actions. We would consider his treatment of others to be shabby, sexist in many cases, and crude. He has more invulnerability than Godzilla and Superman combined. The tone of Lobo's adventures are often at odds to the rest of the DC Universe, so much so that the most logical explanation is that most of the stories from Lobo's point of view are likely just the products of whatever he downed that night. The gag works for a while, but the same tune gets old after a while.
ReplyDeleteI agree Will, and thanks M.C.!
