I rather like this commission. I think that Shadowcat and J'Onn would get along, although Shadowcat might be amazed that the Martian Manhunter has such a wide array of powers. He is, in effect, a one Martian X-Men team -- and then some.
Frank, did you ever do a post on J'Onn fighting in outside of the DC Universe? (I have quipped that if J'Onn was an employee at a real company and was treated the way that he has been by DC at times, he would be tempted to circulate his resume -- or contact the EEOC.)
Will, that kind of conversation was why I started the old "Rock of the JLA" site in the late '90s, but I never got around to revisiting them once the move was made to blog form. Perhaps I need to look into unearthing and revising that stuff?
Frank, it might be a good idea. Mind you, I think that J'Onn is getting more respect now. His time in Stormwatch did not hurt him, and his guest appearances helped. (I loved the image of J'Onn defeating the JLA, as it seems that they made the mistake of underestimating him.)
