Normally on a catch-up day, I'll try to dig up a, shall we say, less than stellar amateur pin-up at Comic Art Fans. Well, I felt like tossing through a few pages at Comic Art Community instead, which tends to focus more on virgin published art. As it happens, this was one of the few sketches to be found at the latter of J'Onn J'Onzz, and it's from Hughes' Justice League America days when he was reworking Despero and giving Manhunter them extra billowy boots. Dig it, ya'll.

I enjoy his facial expression. He looks like he's about to go to work, perhaps rebuilding something a super speed or moving some river. Unconcerned yet caring. Yeah, I'm all about it.
I like it. But I miss the medallions!!
I like that sketch a lot. I would love to see a fully inked and colored J'onn by Adam Hughes.
