Martian Manhunter is a HUGE work in progress. I want him to resemble the "New Frontier" version but not look too aggressive. He is a place holder for now as is the background. Despite the promise made above, he never revisited J'Onn J'Onzz. To me, this most recalls 2003's Wizard Magazine Ultimate DC JLA article, which effectively sidelined the Martian Manhunter as a team mascot monitor room troll. This doesn't go that far, but the Alien Atlas still appears all Tars Tarkas and no Sleuth from Outer Space, a defining dichotomy. A near identical variation with the Fortress of Solitude background swapped out J'Onn for the Flash and pasted Tom Welling's face over Brandon Routh's. A few weeks later, the background went black and Aquaman put a shirt on. Six months later, the background vanished and Aquaman got scales.
