Craig Hamilton & Ray Snyder Justice League of America vs. Starro (1997)
More seafood leftovers featuring a turkey of a villain! This pin-up was taken from the JLA Gallery, and was produced by Craig Hamilton, best known for his 80s' Aquaman mini-series (the one with the blue "camouflage" costume. That thing really should have been collected by now.)

Cool pin-up! What I find interesting is that he drew Wonder Woman in the shot rather than Black Canary. I thought the continuity was pretty set back in 1997 that Black Canary was in the initial League, not Wonder Woman.
Obviously it was Wonder Woman when the story was actually published in the 60's. It's just interesting he chose to draw the original group rather than the retcon.
Anyway, just my two cents.
Keep up the great work!

I figure a random pin-up offers more leeway than an in-continuity tale, and especially in a revamped JLA sans Black Canary, Wonder Woman would be all the more welcome. Do note that Aquaman has green gloves, though. Retcons remain...
Okay, I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a huge Aqua-geek and I never noticed he had yellow gloves on the front of B&B #28. Wow. :(

I assure you, were I not a regular reader of the Aquaman Shrine and an irregular follower of The Unofficial Aquaman Web Site, I'd have never noticed myself.
I also noticed that Starro's eye has a weird simmilarity to Captian Americas Shield. Spooky. :P
Which proves that Cap could beat Green Lantern, whose power ring must yield against the unique properties of Captain America's shield. Also proven: Starro can beat Cap.
Waitaminute-- this isn't the Wizard Magazine message board...?
Happy is the country which has no history.
