Agreed. Like Aquaman's bearded, shoulder armor look, I growing a soft spot for this.
As an isolated period, of course...?
Of course... I prefer the Gleason drawn waterhand iteration overall. The gloves are take 'em or leave 'em.
Gleason was great on Aquaman period. I adore that cover he did with Arthur hugging Mera from behind. A little more of that, and I could forget years of psycho killer Mera stories and let those two crazy kids get back together. I really enjoyed John Arcudi's writing for him, as well.
I never could get behind the water hand, or any of the other stump accessories.
