Frank, I was reading JLA Classified 42 and in it Superman asks the Martian Manunter whats his name and he replies its unpronounceable, and tells him to just call him John Jones. Does he actually have a real name other than J'onn J'onzz?
Depends on the source. Some say J'onn J'onzz is the real deal, but since 1988, the same seed of doubt that plagues all Martian Manhunter continuity cast a shadow over its truth. Perhaps, as restated in that Classified story, it's just a convenient affectation.
