Chris Stevens is one of the artists behind the surprisingly fun Skullkickers comic, and after looking through his deviantART gallery, I think he's going to be huge someday. When you can connect Ed McGuinness to Carlos Pacheco to Jim Steranko to Terry Dodson, you're like the Amazo of comic art talent. I haven't spoken much about the Paul Kirk Manhunter around here, and one of my only faults in Stevens' taste is his absence of love for J'Onn J'Onzz, but I'll play out the tenuous connection as part of my bid to raise Stevens awareness among the fan community. Anyone with multiple Dr. Strange pieces in their portfolio is alright with me, and I'd kill to have this guy work on any of several perfect vehicles for his style.

From reading the comments on DeviantArt, he didn't Photoshop the black background in like other artists would've. I love non-digital art.
I don't mind Photoshop when it is handled well. I love juxtaposition, like the old Kirby photo backgrounds, and digital manipulation can play in the same fields. On the other end of the spectrum, you've got guys like Scott Clark and Jim Starlin who are so painfully inept with computers it makes me weep. They should be forcibly removed from their tablets.
His Captain Marvel and Dr Fate are both boss as hell. That golden age Wonder Woman makes me feel all kinds of strange feelings.
Those first two were my favorites, as well. I can dig on Donna Troy when she's in her red suit, but there's something about Wonder Woman herself that makes it hard for me to see past her mommy asexuality. It would be like checking out Captain America for me.
That's just it, Modern Age WW is a beautiful best friend, sexy but so unattainable it becomes no big deal. Golden Age Wondy will tie me up and make me confess.
That might explain the appeal of Donna, as well. If she would let Terry Long impregnate her, we've all got a shot...
Great to see recognition and promotion of Chris' amazing work here :) If interested, I have a number of commissions from Chris (in pen and ink not copic marker) featuring Shanna, Ka-Zar and Dr. Strange as well as Chris' first cover for Marvel (Agents of Atlas #1 variant cover) and his latest cover for Marvel (Hercules #4) on display here -

Those Agents of Atlas are especially awesome!
