The day J'Onn J'Onzz disguised himself as Jonah Hex? Seriously, with the coat and faded look of the pants, I get more of a cowboy western feel from this figure than a detective story.
Man, that could make one crazy Elseworlds story. Treat the arid wastes of Mars as the wild west desert with Martian Manhunter as a frontier lawman/bounty hunter!
Same figure remodeler goes even further afield on another one I'll post later.
One of the reasons B'rett is a favorite rogue of mine is that he's basically a yellow-bellied '50s western gunslinger. Have you read Elseworlds: Justice Riders
A jacket could work in certain circumstances. There's no reason why a shapeshifter can't have options when it comes to outfits.
I never knew about Justice Riders. The other day I was trying to think of that WWII Elseworlds that had a J'onn cameo in it, but I can't remember the name of it. It was pretty good...anyone remember that?
JSA: The Liberty File?
