Bio: Several criminals have taken the moniker Firefly; the first trading on holographic projections, the second a pyromaniac; both inventors who plagued Gotham City.

Idol Speculation:
"The Human Firefly" got his start in the same series as Mister Moth under the same editorial hand and was arguably even more ridiculous looking. He was a goofy footnote that had a handful of appearances until Firefly was heavily revised and reintroduced in the 1990s. Curiously, an early spotlight story of the Post-Crisis Firefly involved detective John Jones chasing Wiley Dalbert to Gotham City, where the hero teamed-up with Batman and the villain hired the aerial arsonist. Firefly has seen extraordinary multi-media success since, despite still being kind of lame, and in fact losing some of his unique abilities in favor of burning stuff. The most recent incarnation of Firefly just debuted on the Arrow TV show, though that only helps my opinion that Mister Moth takes this match. Firefly battles human vigilantes with tweaked up versions of real world roasting gear. Mister Moth's coptor outmaneuvered the Martian Manhunter and we never even got to see what his ray gun could do, plus he's really weird and interesting. I'll take that over Costumed Pyro #4736 any day of the week.

Mister Moth got my vote. He has more resources to challenge someone on J'Onn's power level.
Mister Moth dreamed of hovering close to a Firefly and not getting burned. The Menagerie member took 77.78% (7 votes) over the Gotham crook's paltry 22.22% (2 votes of 9 Total.)
With all of his various insect weaponry,Mr. Moth seems like a tailor-made villain for the likes of Batman,Blue Beetle Ted Kord or the Winged Wonders of Midway City.I could see him challenging a weaker team of JLA members(possibly with fellow baddie Killer Moth).
