"Martian Manhunter brother Ma'alefa'ak... This version is based on the comic book version of Batman The Brave and the Bold. Sorry about not cleaning it up, I am just not that happy with it."
Aside from the major villains "shared" with other heroes or teams (Despero foremost among them,) there haven't been any action figures devoted to the Martian Manhunter's rogues gallery. That's why I made my own cheesy B'rett Custom Action Figure, and hope to put together more at some point in the future. Ma'alefa'ak is our best hope for a mainstream crossover release, but so far, only a very few customs have turned up. This one features "General Ma'alefa'ak," a cartoon style variation of Ma'alefa'ak featured in DC Comics Mega Sampler 2010 and Batman: The Brave And The Bold #18. He was something of a Commander Blanx/Malefic hybrid, rendering Ma'alefa'ak a White Martian likely unrelated to J'Onn J'Onzz and not especially recognizable as being at all consistent with his comic book incarnation. The thing is, Martian Manhunter is the base figure, so if this were the green-skinned original evil twin brother Malefic, it could have worked. I don't think General Ma'alefa'ak was supposed to be related to J'Onn in his one story appearance, and him body type/proportions were very dissimilar from the Alien Atlas, so this doesn't even function as a faithful adaptation of the variation. Oh, well.

This is something that bothers me bad. Some of the best villains and heroes didn't get action figures. But 1960's mothman got a figure??? Ma'alefeaak with the chains and mean mug is the guy I like.

It's like DC has this well spring of characters and they don't know how to use them or there only there to forever be supporting characters of cannon fodder for legacy characters. And for me that's just aggravating.

I'd like to buy the upcoming Aquaman Lego figure, but it comes with an all white Batman, and how many Batman figures does the world need, anyway?

I never knew Ma'alefa'ak was in the B&TB comic. Or maybe I did and I forgot.

I'm guessing he was a blend between Malefic and Commander Blanx?

That was my assumption, yeah.
